Pelto Group is a business to business service provider that delivers insurance claim recorded statements, transcription, loss reporting and consulting services to our clients in a very fast, high quality, and cost effective manner.

Pelto Group was founded in 2002 by U.S. Air Force veteran, Corby Pelto. Corby launched Pelto Group in order to support the need for improved front end insurance claims investigations. Since then, our business support services have expanded and now include a variety of customized business solutions for our clients. Our clients include insurance companies, trucking firms, and other commercial clients with high deductible or self-insured claim programs.

Our leadership team brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. After serving overseas and being honorably discharged from the Air Force, Corby completed his college studies and later earned his MBA degree. In 1987, he joined Travelers Insurance as a multi-lines claims representative handling commercial and personal lines liability, auto, transportation, and property claims. Corby later served as a litigation specialist, workers compensation claims supervisor, and claims manager.

From 1993-1999, Corby managed a 40 person liability claims staff for the Target Store National Guest Claims Operation. Corby later joined Sedgwick Claims Management Services where he served as their Vice President and Liability Practice Leader for several years. Corby served on the Operating Committee with other senior leaders and he managed many product development, quality assurance, business development, and claim projects in the organization. Corby was very involved in the sales, design, and program implementations for large and complex claim programs that included many Fortune 500 companies. Pelto Group has a long history of expertise within the transportation claim arena as well.
